NYU Traditional 4-year BS in Nursing GPA Requirements:

In Fall 2022, the average GPA for first-time first-year NYU students was 3.80.

This average GPA cuts across all NYU programs (including non-nursing ones) but is a good ballpark figure to work with.

You can still get admitted into NYU’s traditional BS in Nursing degree, with less than a high school GPA of 3.80.

NYU MS in Nursing GPA Requirements

NYU makes it clear that to be eligible for the Masters in Nursing program, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

NYU Advanced Certificate in Nursing GPA Requirements

To qualify for the Advanced Certificate at NYU, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

NYU DNP Program GPA Requirements

The minimum GPA to be eligible for NYU’s DNP program, including all entry paths, is 3.5.

NYU PhD in Nursing Program GPA Requirements

For the Post-BS to PhD entry path, the minimum GPA is 3.0 while for the Post-Masters entry point, the minimum GPA is 3.5.
