Each year, the Church of the Brethren Nursing Scholarship grants a select number of scholarships to individuals enrolled in nursing programs. To be eligible, you must be a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Eligible Nursing Degrees:
- LVN/LPN
- Associate's
- BSN
- MSN
- DNP
- PhD
Scholarship Amount:
It's a $2,000 award for RN & graduate nurse students and $1,000 for LPN students.
Church of the Brethren Nursing Scholarship Eligibility & Requirements:
- Membership: You must be a member of the Church of the Brethren.
- Academic Standing: Completion of one year in an accredited college-level nursing program. A preference is given to individuals who are in their 2nd year of an associate’s degree or 3rd year of a baccalaureate program.
- Application: A completed Nursing Scholarship Application Form.
- References: Two personal and/or professional reference letters.
- Pastoral Reference: A reference letter from your Church of the Brethren pastor.
- Transcripts: An official, recent transcript from your current school and any previous college transcripts.
- Enrollment Documentation: Documentation confirming your acceptance and enrollment in your study program.
- Program Details: Information about your program of study, including required courses and the program's duration.
