Transferring into another ABSN program?

Does anyone know if transferring while in an ABSN program is possible? Overall I’ve done well at my current program, but our Med Surg 2 class is terrible (like 6 students failing either the course or out of the program). I have friends at other programs that are much happier with the quality of education and the ability to actually succeed, and wanted to know what the chances are that transferring is even allowed? If not I can just tough it out in my current ABSN program, but I wanted to explore all of my options.
