Hi. I am currently an incoming junior year nursing student. I have been highly interested in learning more about IV therapy. In terms of shadowing an IV RN, do you think more than 1 day (8 hr) and a half (4 hr) is too much? Do you think that another day of shadowing is pushing the limit? I have learned so much, but I don’t want to be overzealous, either; however, the IV RN was more than happy for me to come one more time.
