So after 20 years of nursing, I decided to go back to school to get my MSN. It has always been my dream to be WHNP. Problem……I received my BSN (BScN) 21 years ago, and my GPA at that time was not good (personal reasons). I had it assessed through WES (because I graduated in Canada), and the GPA was 2.65. I really want to be accepted and was even thinking of repeating my BSN, but figured how dumb that would be. My stats brought my GPA down, so I was thinking of repeating my stats and physical assessment courses through Frontier. Has anyone had experience with this? And it would be considered non-matriculating courses? Would this put me in a better light to be accepted into the program? And does this mean I would not be eligible for financial aid to take these courses?
