I am starting the core nursing program this fall and currently work as a cna. I am leaving that job in a few weeks so I can have something more flexible with clinicals and study hours, etc. My school required students to have their CNA certification and having taken a training course. I have done this as I am currently working as a CNA. However, unless I renew my certification it will expire 2 months before I finish the program and graduate.
