The HCAI LVN to ADN Nursing Scholarship Program aims to help expand and diversify California’s healthcare workforce. It offers scholarships to health professionals who commit to a 12-month service in underserved communities, providing direct patient care.
The program’s main goal is to boost the number of well-trained RNs serving in underserved regions or qualified facilities within California.
Eligible Nursing Degrees:
- Associate (must be the LVN to ADN Bridge)
Scholarship Amount:
Upto $8,000.
HCAI LVN to ADN Nursing Scholarship Program Eligibility & Requirements:
- Must be currently accepted or enrolled in an Associate degree bridge program that prepares you to become a Registered Nurse.
- Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester units, or its equivalent, until program completion.
- Have a GPA of 2.0 or greater for most recent academic performance or equivalent.
- Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or greater until program completion.
- Not have any other existing service obligations with other entities, including other HCAI programs.
- Not be in breach of any other HCAI service obligation.
- Commit to providing a 12-month service obligation in an underserved area or qualifying facility, working 32 hours or more per week of direct patient care within six months of graduation.
- Be a California resident.
