The GoodRx Helps Nurses for Change Scholarship offers financial support to nursing students and recent alumni from underrepresented backgrounds in healthcare.
Awards go to those with the most impactful solutions to significant challenges in their field and the wider healthcare environment.
Eligible Nursing Degrees:
- LPN/LVN
- Associate's
- BSN
- Accelerated BSN
- MSN
- Entry Level Masters/Direct Entry MSN
- APRN
- DNP
Scholarship Amount:
It's a $5,000 award to 10 applicants.
GoodRx Helps Nurses for Change Scholarship Eligibility & Requirements:
- You must be a current or recently graduated nursing student (ranging from LPN/LVN to DNP).
- Recent graduates should have finished their last semester no earlier than the Spring of the current year of scholarship application.
- You must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
- You must self-identify as someone from an underrepresented group in nursing.
GoodRx Helps Nurses for Change Scholarship Selection Criteria & Priorities:
- Innovative or novel idea(s) shared via written or video essay.
- Statement detailing academic and professional aspirations.
- Academic achievements, extracurricular activities, awards, and honors.
- Unique personal or family situations (if relevant).
- Academic merit with a focus on GPA (minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale).
- Work experience (considered a bonus, but not mandatory).
